Lake Montriond near Morzine is the third largest lake in Haute Savoie. In 3 km you can walk all the way around. Too hot for a walk? Then take a refreshing dip in the water. When you walk 10 minutes from the end of the lake you reach the Les Albertans. A hamlet with traditional architecture. A little further on, the waters of the impressive Ardent waterfall race downhill.

Hiking to a mountain hut always has something magical, especially for children. So the Apricotine mountain hut fits in perfectly with these kid-proof hikes. The cabin is located at 1.635 meters altitude and overlooks the waterfall des Brochaux. You can have lunch there or eat a delicious blueberry pie. Next stop is the mountain hut of Chésery which is on the French-Swiss border. From the location you have a view of the beautiful Lac Vert. The Chésery Mountain Hut is an old stable dating back to the 19th century. Completely renovated in 1987 and the owners Turned It Into A Fine Gîte. Morzine and Avoriaz
Morzine is a traditional French Mountain Village with Wooden Chalets and Counts 3.000 inhabitants. Avoriaz is locationed at an altitude of 1800 meters and is a car-free ski resort in the middle of les portes du soleil. From a distance, The Buildings Mimic the Rocks Below the Village. For me, Mountains have Something Magical, I come here often and Gladly. Just for walking, but also for climbing. We too have really had to tempt our children with an ice cream after walking, but actual They Always Enjoy Going With Us. Althegh We prefer climbing to walking.
