Spinach contains omega-3 fatty acids, lutein and folate (the natural form of folic acid) in addition to vitamins and minerals. Eat one cup of fresh spinach or half a cup of cooked spinach daily to take full advantage of the health benefits of this healthy vegetable!

For example, a salad of raw spinach, thin slices of celeriac, slices of brie, toasted pumpkin seeds and a dressing of mustard, olive oil, lemon juice and mayonnaise is delicious.

Oats are full of healthy B vitamins and soluble fiber, which are good for your heart. The presence of fiber also ensures that the carbohydrates in oats are released into your body only slowly. This keeps your blood sugar stable, which is good for your weight.

Oatmeal also provides a whopping 20 grams of protein per cup, making it enormously nutritious. With a plate of oatmeal for breakfast, you won’t be hungry anytime soon! This prevents you from reaching for unhealthy snacks, which again contributes to a healthy weight.
